As a child, I used to dream of being a fashion designer. I think was because I knew my grandmother was the go-to person in our family if you needed a seamstress. In fact, at the tender age of 10, all this little girl wanted for Christmas was a sewing machine. I remember doodling designs which, in retrospect, would have been a stretch for even Judy Jetson to pull off. I think my best achievement in design and creation was making my little brother a Halloween costume (he was “Cousin It”, so it wasn’t too intense of a costume to make!).
Well, if you dreamed of the opportunity to attend a High Fashion Runway Event here is your chance! This Friday, April 8th, during the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, there will be a Runway Fashion Show in the Kimmel Center Plaza.
