The Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts has some great events lined up for artists, dancers and gourmands. But don’t miss out on the excellent line up in the speaker series as well. The full list of speakers can be found via this link to the Speaker and Salon Series schedule. Some of the speakers I would love to see include:
Families with preschoolers through first grade will get a taste of French with bi-lingual readings of some favorite French stories. Add some French sweets to the mix and this has the makings for a great learning experience for moms, dads and kids!
1910 – 1920 Paris FREE FAMILY FARE: A Bi-lingual Storytime
11:00am – 01:00pm
Philadelphia City Institute Library
I must admit, when I think of artists in Paris, I often forget the literary masters that visited and/or lived in one of my favorite cities in France. I would specifically love to hear about Ezra Pound’s experiences there. And, as this event is being held at Arcadia University which is in Montgomery County!
