My children and I recently had the opportunity to visit River of Life Martial Arts & Wellness Center in Fort Washington during their Open House.
The River of Life Martial Arts & Wellness Center (RoL) is a beautiful structure set on three and a half acres in Fort Washington, PA, with the pristine Wissahickon River running aside the property. RoL serves residents of Montgomery County and surrounding areas with health and wellness services for the entire family.

Children’s Class begin at age 4. For more information about enrolling your child in the “Little Ninjas” program click here. There are also basic Aikido classes for older children ages 7 and up, click here for more information.
Martial Arts is not the only thing that RoL has to offer, there is also…
Licensed therapist, Dana Harbison, MSOM, offers a variety of treatments in acupuncture, the oldest continuously practiced medical system in the world. Dana strives to provide a blend of proven ancient practices with cutting edge modern advancements. Dana will endeavor to provide you with the best care possible. While I attended the open house I had a chance to talk to Dana about her practice and asked her if Acupuncture helps with insomnia. To my delight, she said most definitely! This was music to my not able to sleep at night ears.
