Disclosure: I was provided a Nawgum teether to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own.
The Nawgum teether from Mello & Co is a cactus shaped teether perfect for all stages of teething. From Baby’s front teeth to Toddler’s molars, the Nawgum has your little munchkin’s teething needs covered. Made in the USA from food-grade silicone (in a very pretty shade of green), the Nawgum is dishwasher safe and BPA free. The Nawgum’s unique shape and nubby textured surface make it a winner when it comes to soothing sore gums. A single solid piece of silicone, the Nawgum is easy for Mom to clean and easy for Baby to hold. Of all the teethers I’ve tried with my kiddos, the Nawgum is the only one that simulates the shape and feel of a finger, which after all, is the default teether for most babies. With a hard inner core and a soft, rubbery outer layer, the long ‘arms’ of the Nawgum are as effective and soothing for Baby as chewing on a finger, but considerably less painful for said finger’s owner.
Aside from it’s teething aspects, the Nawgum is also a great sensory toy for little ones. It’s unique feel and textures make it super stimulating for little hands. When he’s not gnawing on his Nawgum, my son loves to play with it! He is rarely without his Nawgum, unless his older sister steals it to sooth her incoming molars. The Nawgum is definitely one-of-a-kind, and I highly recommend it for your teething kiddos!
