Disclosure: I was provided an Ecopiggy pacifier, a Baby Buzzer, a Green Apple Teether, a Wristy Buddy, Le Bibble and Le Swipe to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Easter is around the corner, and it’s time to start giving the Bunny some suggestions on how to fill those Easter baskets! Jellybeans and chocolate eggs are always welcome in my Easter basket, but in case you’re looking for something a little different, here are some of my picks for non-candy goodies for the Little Ones this Easter.
The Wristy Buddy is another great teether created in my home state of Georgia. The Wristy Buddy is a non-toxic teething toy attached to a wristband, which makes it fantastic for younger babies that don’t yet have the ability to hold a teether. I love the Wristy Buddy for several reasons. Since the teether is secured to Baby’s wrist, it’s not only readily available when Baby needs it, but it’s also less likely to fall on the floor. The soft material is also highly absorbent, which is a plus when it comes to drooling, teething babies.
Available in several different adorable designs, the Wristy Buddy consists of a sweet and soft animal toy with a rubbery, textured teething surface on one side and a stimulating crainkly tab on the other. The Wristy Buddy is not only great for soothing sore gums, but also for stimulating babies senses with it’s various textures and sounds.
My son loves his Moose Wristy Buddy. Even once he was old enough to hold things on his own, he has always loved wearing (or holding) his Wristy Buddy. Though the Wristy Buddy is designed with younger kiddos in mind, it is definitely a great soother for teething kiddos of any age!
There are 9 zillion different pacifiers on the market, each claiming to offer something different. The Ecopiggy actually does. It is a 100% natural rubber pacifier that is formed from one single piece of rubber (which means nothing icky gets inside). The Ecopiggy is available in two different styles – rounded or orthodontic – to suit your baby’s preference. Besides being more similar to a mother’s breast than traditional pacifiers, the Ecopiggy is completely free of PVC, BPA and phthalates.
Being relatively neurotic, one of the things I noticed right away about the Ecopiggy was how easy it is to clean. There are no separate parts, no hollow areas, no joints or crevices for dirt and grime (and bacteria – ew!) to accumulate. I also liked how the little handle was a large loop, making it super easy to attach to a pacifier clip. But enough about me! What’s most important is what y son thought! Maddox LOVED this pacifier right of the bat. I was concerned that there might be some difficulty transitioning from his usual pacifiers because the Ecopiggy has a different texture and feel to it. My concerns were totally unwarranted, however, and the Ecopiggy quickly became his favorite pacifier. We never leave home without it!
Baby Buzz’r & Natural Rubber Teether Apple
The Baby Buzz’r is an awesome little contraption that is both toy and teether. The Baby Buzz’r not only buzzes, but it also lights up and plays classical music. With soft teethers on either end and a mirror on the back, the Baby Buzz’r is a wonderful (and highly portable) toy for Baby. It tucks easily into a purse or diaper bag, and can be attached to a stroller or car seat. Perhaps most importantly, the Baby Buzz’r can perform its functions simultaneously OR independently. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that feature! Sometimes, Baby needs to be entertained in an environment where noise-making toys just aren’t appropriate. Cue the Baby Buzz’r! My son loves the blinking lights with or without the music or vibration features, making this a great gadget for any setting. It also comes in very handy during diaper changes, and helps keep The World’s Squirmiest Baby still long enough for me to get a dry diaper on him!
Baby Buzz’r also offers a fantastic teether – the Natural Rubber Teether Apple. As you know, I’m addicted to baby teethers. I have accumulated quite a few in my search for the best teethers for my munchkins. The Natural Rubber Teether Apple from Lanco has recently been added to my list. Shaped like an apple, the teether is made of 100% rubber and is BPA, PVC and Phthalate free. The Teether Apple is also completely biodegradable, which makes it desirable in the long run as well. The teether is simple, cute, and a hit with the kiddos!

Le Bibble & Le Swipe
I love Le Bibble from Funfunctional. It’s a simple, yet brilliant product that offers an effective (and stylish) solution to dribble. Reminiscent of a scrunchie, Le Bibble is a fabric ‘bib’ that simply slips onto Baby’s bottle and secures to the neck with elastic. Because it attaches right to the bottle, Le Bibble is always there to catch bottle leaks and dab dribble from Baby’s chin. Made from highly absorbent, textured organic cotton material on one side and one of many available cotton prints on the other, Le Bibble is both a functional item AND an accessory (and you know I love any opportunity to accessorize). The elastic band also ensures that Le Bibble can stretch to fit any bottle.
As I used Le Bibble with my son, I kicked myself for not having discovered it with my first baby! Le Bibble is SO practical and incredibly helpful. No searching for a burp cloth during feedings and no dribble running down baby’s cheek and neck in the meantime. Le Bibble is right there at all times. I also found Le Bibble useful in other ways. My son loved playing with it as he drank from his bottle, and I found it calmed him down if he was fussy. It is both a built-in toy and soother! I also found that Le Bibble was helpful while nursing. I’d simply slip it onto my wrist while I nursed and used it to dab away dribble after feeding. Again, easily accessible and highly effective.
Funfunctional also makes fantastic cloth baby wipes called ‘Le Swipe’. Le Swipes are made from the same organic textured cotton used in Le Bibble, which gets softer with each washing. Le Swipes can be used as wash cloths, household cleaning wipes, napkins for grubby hands, handkerchiefs for runny noses, wipes for cloth diapering – you name it! We pair our Le Swipes with the Fridet and use them as baby wipes. Of all the cloth baby wipes we’ve tried, Le Swipes are by far the best. The textured material makes them perfect for cleaning up tough diapering messes. They are highly absorbent (key for cloth diapering!), yet incredibly thin (fantastic for packing in a diaper bag!). If you’re a cloth diapering mom, or interested in giving it a try, I highly suggest Le Swipes. Trust me, I’ve tried a LOT of cloth wipes and Le Swipes are infinitely superior to other brands. While this may seem like an odd suggestion for an Easter basket, I can assure you that your little one will appreciate the softness of these wipes! They also make great loveys!
