Disclosure: I was provided a Pure Care Megacare 4-in-1 kit to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Does anyone else stress clean? When I’m stressed, I clean. Not because I find cleaning particularly therapeutic, but because the more stressed I am the more likely I am to freak out over the tiniest speck of dust and end up cleaning the house top to bottom in a fit of silent frustration. Total martyr, I know…but really, am I truly the ONLY person that sees the coffee cup rings on the kitchen counter or the dried pasta sauce next to the stove??? Psssh.
Imagine my joy when I found a line of cleaning products that would actually help me de-stress! Pure Care is a line of non-toxic natural cleaning products that are not only completely safe for you and your family, but they’re also…wait for it…AROMATHERAPEUTIC! With seriously calming scents like Eucalyptus Clove Cedar and Cedar Patchouli Orange (my absolute favorite), you no longer need to worry about harsh toxic chemicals OR clean your house in a tension-filled silence. (Seriously, I can’t be the only one who PMS cleans, right?)
When my Pure Care kit arrived, I was super excited to start cleaning (#totalloser). I started out with the All-Purpose Cleaner. I cleaned everything…and I mean EVERYTHING. Baseboards, counters, walls, cabinets, toys, tables…everything that was remotely dirty got spritzed with Pure Care and a handful of things that weren’t dirty at all did too. I’m not going to lie…I got spray happy. First of all, it smells ahhhhmazing. I could actually feel a shift in my mood. I was fine when I started cleaning, but by the time I was done, I was legitimately happy. I even sang ‘Whistle While You Work’ as I cleaned. Secondly, Pure Care actually works. Initially, I questioned whether all-natural products would actually be able to clean effectively, but I quickly learned that ‘all-natural’ doesn’t mean ‘weak’ or ‘ineffective’ when it comes to cleaning products. To give you some background, I have 2 kids, a dog, and 4 cats. Needless to say, if I don’t stay on top of my daily cleaning to-do list, things can get a little…grimy. Pure Care worked effectively on even the grimiest of baseboards and the stickiest of toys without leaving a trace of harmful chemicals behind.
The Bathroom and Glass Cleaners didn’t disappoint either. I was amazed at how my bathroom tile sparkled after using Pure Care. Amazingly, it even worked on stubborn soap scum spots in my shower – even the shower curtain! It’s natural ingredients make Pure Care totally non-corrosive, yet it works wonders on mold and mildew, calcium deposits and even those annoying rust spots. I can’t tell you how nice it was to NOT have that yucky, chemical smell filling my nostrils as I cleaned the bathroom. Normally when I clean the bathroom, I instantly get a headache from the strong odor of the cleaner. With Pure Care, I was headache-free and happy as can be!
The Pure Care Dish Soap is equally fantastic as its spray cleaner counterparts. Between its fabulous scent and naturally moisturizing ingredients, doing the dishes with Pure Care sucks a whole lot less than normal. It works like a charm on gross pots and cooked-on pans, and my glasses were sparkling and spot-free. Hooray!
With no harsh chemicals, dyes, sulfates, ammonias or other nasties, Pure Care is as safe for you as it is for the environment. I love knowing that my kids (and pets) are playing with toys and sitting on floors that have been cleaned with totally safe products. Besides the safety factor, the aromatherapeutic aspect of Pure Care is pretty fantastic. So my advice to fellow moms? Attack the most stubborn of stains – AND moods – with Pure Care!
Emily’s Tip: Put a little bit of Pure Care All-Purpose cleaner into your steam mop for extra fresh and sparkling floors!
