Finding the balance between learning and play time can sometimes be challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. If you’re looking for a fun, interactive approach to your child’s education and development, I highly recommend that you and your kiddos check out Romp n’ Roll in Willow Grove. Offering a variety of excellent music, movement and art classes for children ages 3 months to 6 years, Romp n’ Roll is the perfect place to play with your child, while meeting their developmental needs in a fun, exciting way.
My kids have been wild about Romp n’ Roll since our very first class with the fabulous Miss Renee. From the first few notes of the Romp n’ Roll welcome song and the appearance of Rompy, Romp n’ Roll’s cuddly doggy mascot, the kiddos were hooked. The fact that the teachers are super sweet and nurturing didn’t hurt either! My kids LOVED every teacher they met at Romp n’ Roll, and frequently asked me when we’d be going back to visit Miss Renee, Miss Kia or Miss Allison. I was very impressed with how kind, friendly and approachable all of the teachers were. Their natural rapport with the children is really fantastic, and endlessly reassuring for Moms on the fence about dropping the kids off for a few hours for say a Kid’s Night Out event.
Romp n’ Roll’s classes are organized by age group (Babies, One Year Olds, Two Year Olds, and Three to Five Year Olds), and focus on developing age-appropriate skills through exciting, stimulating play through themed stories, songs, games, art projects and activities. Whether your little one is a budding artist, a future gymnast, or the next Bobby Flay, Romp n’ Roll’s exciting class schedule offers something for every child to enjoy – and perhaps they’ll discover a new interest or two along the way! Since attending classes at Romp n’ Roll, my children have both developed a love of making music and a passion for cooking, and my daughter is now a stickler for tea party etiquette. It is a beautiful thing to watch your children discover new interests in a class and then want to pursue them in their daily lives. We have taken activities, songs and lessons we learned together in the classes at Romp n’ Roll and incorporated them into our play time at home. It’s always wonderful to discover new ways to teach and engage your children, and Romp n’ Roll’s curriculum is chock-full of opportunities to do just that.
Beyond the phenomenal instructors and engaging curriculum, I really appreciated how clean and tidy the facility was. Romp n’ Roll’s attention to detail and dedication to cleanliness is comforting to this neat-freak mama. Hands are washed with ‘Magic Soap’ (Purell) before and after each class. Toys that get drooled on go right into the ‘Yucky Bucket’ to be washed. Mats, toys and tumbling equipment are regularly scrubbed and sanitized. Fabric toys, such as parachutes, scarves and the like, are washed daily. Tissues, wipes and sanitizer are all readily available for parents to use, and the staff have eagle eyes when it comes to spotting drool or other kiddie ‘yuckies’ on any of the equipment. At Romp n’ Roll, I’m always confident that my kids are playing in a clean, safe environment.
In addition to an impressive schedule of classes and daily Open Gym time, Romp n’ Roll also hosts Summer and Winter Camps, Kid’s Nights Out (which include play time, pizza and a bubble dance party) and Parent’s Morning Out (a 3-hour drop off program so you can run errands). And let’s not forget Romp n’ Roll’s fabulous Birthday Party Packages!
