Disclosure: My children enjoyed a month of free classes at Gymboree in order to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own.
Gymboree Play & Music in Collegeville provides classes that enhance and encourage your child’s physical, cognitive, and social skills through creative play and parent participation. Aimed at children ages birth through five, Gymboree offers a variety of classes such as art, music and movement. There’s even a school readiness class for the older kiddos!
My children absolutely loved our visits to Gymboree. We attended several Family Play & Learn classes, a few Family Music classes, and a Family Art class. The classes featured stories, songs, games, art projects and activities inspired by that week’s theme. Whether they were pretending to be ducks, chasing bubbles, playing with a parachute, creating beautiful artwork or dancing to disco, my kids had an absolute blast. I loved seeing them giggle and smile as they played, all the while developing age-appropriate skills through fun, interactive play and making new friends. They especially loved the exciting and ever-changing gym equipment at Gymboree. From colorful mats and balance beams to ladders, tubes and fun climbing structures, my kids darted from one exciting plaything to another.
In addition to their impressive class schedule and beautiful facility, Gymboree boasts a fantastic staff of teachers. All of the wonderful teachers were nurturing, kind and sweet as can be, especially Miss Maria and Miss Danielle. They created a warm, inviting class environment where my kids were instantly comfortable and endlessly excited.
If you’d like to introduce your child to music, dance, song, or movement in a social environment with other children, or simply boost confidence and inspire imagination, Gymboree is a great option! Whether your kiddo is an Olympic gymnast in the making, a budding musician or a future rock star, Gymboree’s schedule of classes offers something to suit every child’s interests.
