Summer may officially be over, but it doesn’t look like the mosquitoes are going anywhere. Even a quick step outside results in countless (and annoying) mosquito bites. My poor kiddos are prime targets for those mosquitoes, despite my best efforts at repelling them with various Pinterest hacks. Luckily, I recently came across a fabulous new bug
repellent product designed especially for kids, making the process easy, convenient and fun.
The Buglet is a reusable rubber slap bracelet (remember those?) with a little round pumice stone attached. Each bracelet comes with a bottle of an all-natural mosquito repelling essential oils blend. When your kids are ready to go outside, simply put a few drops of the essential oils onto the pumice tiles, slap on those bracelets and off they go! When a bracelet loses its fragrance, you know it’s time to add a few more drops. Simple, right? The Buglets are made from super safe, non-toxic materials that are as easy to clean as they are easy to use. When a bracelet loses its fragrance, you know it’s time to add a few more drops. When you run eventually out of essential oils (a little bottle goes a long way), you can purchase refills online.
Buglet bracelets are available in a variety of fun colors and shapes. My daughter chose a hot pink bunny bracelet and my son went with a lime green circle. Getting my kids to stay still long enough to apply bug spray can be tough when they’re eager to run and play. Thanks to their bright new Buglet bracelets, keeping the bugs away is now fuss-free and super easy. They love wearing their cool new bracelets, and won’t go in the yard without them now! We love our Buglets, and can’t wait to use them next year also. In fact, I plan on buying a few more for my husband and I to wear when we’re working in the yard and on future camping trips!
