Just Between Friends is the Philadelphia region’s largest children’s consignment event where thousands of families come together to buy & sell new & gently used children’s and maternity items. Consignors sell the items their families have outgrown or no longer use. They prep their items, set their own price and drop them off at the event. JBF does the rest of the work and families can earn up to 70% of the sale price. Shoppers can find clothing, shoes, toys, games, books, baby equipment, outdoor gear, furniture – and much more.
Like many families, our kids either completely outgrow their clothes or ruin them after just a few wears. We are increasingly grateful for this twice a year event because it allows us to not only supplement our sons’ everyday wardrobes but also find more expensive pieces for a fraction of the original cost. In the case of our oldest son, we buy a new wardrobe every time JBF comes around. What are our top 5 finds EVER from the JBF sale?
- Snow boots
- Snow pants
- Swim vests
- A formal suit
- Double stroller (for $25!)
My all time favorite thing to buy though are t-shirts for my sons. We find shirts from Disney for $3-$6/each as well as many other characters. For my oldest (who is big for his age), it’s difficult to find shirts featuring characters for a kid his size. But I can find them at the JBF sale.
Don’t miss this sale, MontcoMoms! See the details below.

There are several pre-sale time slots that happen on March 15th, the day before the public sale begins. Earlier in the day team members (those who volunteer to help at the sale) and consignors are invited to shop. Later in the day first time parents/grandparents, teachers, and Prime Time pass holders (those tickets are available for $10) are invited to shop. Everyone at the pre-sale regardless of time slot needs a pass. You can get those here.
Local mom Tracy Panase organizes and runs the JBF events (Reading, Oaks, and Lancaster) twice a year. She is thrilled to help the community save and earn money. Tracy is available for interviews before and during the event.
