Disclosure: I received Pink Stork Morning Sickness Tea, Labor Prep Tea, Liquid Gold Tea, Bath Flakes, Prenatal Vitamin Spray, Apple Cider Vinegar, Prenatal Essential Oil and an Aromatherapy Necklace to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% my own.
I guarantee you that before you finish reading this review, you’ll be sick of hearing me say how much I love Pink Stork. I apologize…kinda…but not really, because Pink Stork is an amazing brand and everyone should know about it and love it as much as I do.
As a mom of two who is currently expecting twins, I’ve had some experience in the pregnancy department. Plagued by severe morning sickness throughout my entire first pregnancy, I was blessed with a fairly uneventful second pregnancy. That was followed by my current twin pregnancy, and let me tell you…the difficulties I experienced with my first pregnancy would have been a welcome reprieve from the insanity of my first trimester with twin. We’re talking popped blood vessels in my eyeballs from heaving so hard. TMI? Sorry. I’m simply trying to emphasize the fact that when I praise Pink Stork’s phenomenal product line, I can actually speak with some authority on the subject.
By the time I discovered Pink Stork, I’d already tried every acupressure band, lozenge, home remedy and Pinterest DIY in the book. I’ll be honest, while I was excited to try out Pink Stork’s products, I was skeptical. Nothing to that point had even remotely relieved my constant round the clock nausea, and the twins seemed determined to set some sort of morning sickness world record. Boy was I wrong. The day I tried Pink Stork’s morning sickness products was the day my entire pregnancy took a turn.
Pink Stork’s Morning Sickness Tea was a game changer. To this day, I’m not entirely convinced it doesn’t contain some sort of magical ingredient sent down from the heavens, because I had previously tried every morning sickness tea on the market to no avail. Whatever is in Pink Stork’s Morning Sickness Tea blend truly IS magical, because I experienced relief after about 4 sips. The tea is a caffeine-free black tea blend with notes of peach and ginger. Beyond it’s amazing effectiveness at relieving morning sickness, this is a seriously delicious tea that I crave constantly. It’s sooooo gooooood!
Pink Stork also offers two other tea blends: Labor Prep and Liquid Gold. The Labor Prep tea is specially formulated to strengthen and tone the uterus to – you guessed it – prepare for labor and delivery. The yummy blend of organic rosehips, raspberry leaf, nettle leaf, chamomile, and oatstraw is caffeine free and naturally sweetened with organic stevia leaf. Normally I’m not wild about sweetened teas, but Labor Prep has just the right hint of sweetness. I like to add a splash of almond milk to mine, and hang out in the bathtub (more about that later). It also contains iron, magnesium, Vitamin K, Vitamin C and calcium as an added health benefit for pregnant mamas and developing babies. Pink Stork’s Liquid Gold tea is designed to increase milk production and encourage flow in breastfeeding mamas. With a unique blend of organic blessed thistle, marshmallow root, fennel, fenugreek, licorice, anise and spearmint, this tea is effective and tasty! I love that it can be enjoyed both hot and cold. I really liked the flavor, and found that it truly does benefit nursing mamas. Along with the breastfeeding benefits, it’s also intended to help calm fussy, gassy babies with its rich nutrients. I’m looking forward to giving that a try when the twins arrive.
In addition to the Morning Sickness Tea, Pink Stork also offers a special Prenatal Essential Oil formulated to ease the morning sickness, stress, headaches and fatigue brought on by pregnancy. The peppermint oil not only naturally soothes morning sickness discomfort, but it helps mask odors that may be upsetting to an expecting mama’s tummy. The oil can be used in several ways, but I absolutely adored Pink Stork’s rose gold aromatherapy necklace. The necklace features a pendent containing a tiny round lava rock that can be sprinkled with the Prenatal Essential Oil for all day relief. Pink Stork also suggests wearing the necklace while nursing to calm and soothe Baby.
Additionally, Pink Stork’s organic Apple Cider Vinegar is another weapon in my pregnancy arsenal. It combats dehydration, nausea, and heartburn. With a twin pregnancy, each of these symptoms is a major issue. Pink Stork’s Apple Cider Vinegar helped me tremendously, especially with the heartburn….oh, the heartburn. It’s made from organic apples and unlike many ACVs available, it contains the ‘mother’, or enzymes and good bacteria that promote good gut health. I like to add a splash of this ACV to my water bottles or use a tablespoon in my smoothies. I’m telling you, it’s a game changer.
It’s often recommended to pregnant women suffering from morning sickness that they take their prenatal vitamins at night to avoid upsetting their stomachs in the morning. In theory, that’s a great idea…unless you’re so fatigued from creating a human or humans that you pass out before you remember to take them. Pink Stork’s solution is pretty brilliant – n prenatal vitamin spray called ‘Nourishment’. I mean…how did expecting mamas exist before this? Every vitamin and nutrient you and your baby need is included in this spray. To use, you simply spray it into your cheek, swish and swallow. Boom. So easy, and super effective.
Last and certainly not least, we have Pink Stork’s Pregnancy Bath Flakes. Soak away the aches and pains of pregnancy with a warm bath sprinkled with Pink Stork’s Bath Flakes. Sip on your Labor Prep tea while the the organic magnesium works its magic to relieve your discomfort. Magnesium is even shown to aid in sleeplessness and – that’s right, nausea relief. I can’t tell you how much these Bath Flakes have helped me over the last few months as the strain on my back from my growing twin belly has increased. Total lifesaver.
Are you sick of hearing me praise Pink Stork yet? Because I could talk at length about Amy, the founder and creator of Pink Stork, who suffered severe hyperemesis gravidarum throughout three consecutive pregnancies while her husband was deployed. Fueled by her determination to have a more enjoyable fourth pregnancy, Amy embraced a natural and organic lifestyle. As a result, Pink Stork was born.
I’m so grateful that Amy’s hard work has helped me through my current pregnancy, and I’m determined to share her fantastic brand with everyone I know! If you know any mamas-to-be, give them the gift of a settled stomach this Mother’s Day. Visit Pink Stork online at www.pinkstork.com and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Better still, you can find Pink Stork in Target stores mid-April!
